Topeka pharmacy heads to capitol hill

If you have been by our pharmacy in the past few years, you probably have heard something from our team about Pharmacy Benefit Managers, or PBMs. If you have had trouble utilizing your prescription insurance because they won’t cover something your doctor prescribes, they make you use another pharmacy, or they fail to reimburse the medication at break even cost, this is a problem! That is why our very own Trevor Thain headed to Washington D.C. to advocate for our patients who have been affected by PBM abuse. Trevor met with legislators to urge them to take action and help bring about much-needed change in the industry.

What is a PBM?

PBMs, or Pharmacy Benefit Managers, are third-party administrators of prescription drug programs that often lead to higher costs and limited access to medication for patients.

What can I do?
